½ lb

1 each
Bell Pepper
2 each
Scallions
3 tbsp
Soy Glaze
3 tbsp

Instructions

step 1
Prepare the ingredients
Remove the noodles from the refrigerator to bring to room temperature. Wash and dry the fresh produce. Cut off and discard the stem of the pepper(s). Halve lengthwise; remove the ribs and seeds, then thinly slice crosswise. Thinly slice the scallions, separating the white bottoms and hollow green tops.

step 2
Cook the pork & vegetables
In a large, high-sided pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil on medium-high until hot. Add the pork; season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently and breaking the meat apart with a spoon, 5 to 6 minutes, or until lightly browned. Carefully drain off and discard any excess oil. Add the sliced pepper(s) and sliced white bottoms of the scallions; season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, 2 to 3 minutes, or until slightly softened and the pork is cooked through.

step 3
Finish the noodles & serve your dish
Meanwhile, using your hands, carefully separate the noodles. To the pan, carefully add the noodles, soy glaze, black bean-chile sauce, 1/4 cup of water (or 1/2 cup for 4 servings), and as much of the red pepper flakes as you'd like, depending on how spicy you'd like the dish to be. Cook, stirring frequently, 1 to 2 minutes, or until combined and the noodles are heated through. Turn off the heat. Taste, then season with salt and pepper if desired. Serve the finished noodles garnished with the sesame seeds and sliced green tops of the scallions. Enjoy!
