tips & techniques
step-by-step
instructions
1 Make the curry butter & toast the baguette

Remove the honey from the refrigerator to bring to room temperature. Place an oven rack in the center of the oven, then preheat to 450°F. Halve the baguette lengthwise. In a small pot, heat the butter on medium-high until melted (or melt in a bowl in the microwave). Add as much of the curry paste as you’d like, depending on how spicy you’d like the dish to be; stir to thoroughly combine. Place the halved baguette on a sheet pan, cut side up. Evenly top with the curry butter. Toast in the oven 7 to 9 minutes, or until lightly browned and the edges are crispy. Transfer to a cutting board.

3 FInish & serve your dish

Meanwhile, wash and dry the scallions; thinly slice. Drizzle the toasted baguette with the honey (kneading the packet before opening). Cut each half on an angle into 4 equal-sized pieces. Serve the finished toast garnished with the sliced scallions. Enjoy!
