Using Your Two-Step Corkscrew — A Quick Overview

Step 1: Using the retractable knife, cut the foil cap by placing the knife under the lip of the bottle and twisting in a circle. Once cut all the way around, pop off the foil cap and retract the knife.

Step 2: Place the tip of the screw onto the cork, slightly off-center, so that when you twist the screw it goes into the middle of the cork. Continue twisting the screw into the cork with even pressure until the spiral is completely in the cork.

Step 3: Place the first hinge of the corkscrew on the lip of the bottle, hold in place and lever the handle to pull the cork about halfway out of the bottle. Now move the second hinge of the corkscrew to the lip of the bottle, this gives you extra leverage to make pulling out the rest of the cork effortless, mess free and fast!
