Looking for the perfect reds to sip and savor or pair with decadent dinners? This three-bottle bundle of French wines features bold and spicy notes that stand out on their own and are culinary delights when paired with food. Use them to cook or drink with classic dishes such as coq au vin or beef bourguignon.

The Vignobles Bulliat Gamay is a classically styled red from the winery’s prized plot of 50 year-old vines, offering notes of red cherry, blackberry, and mint. The L'Ostal Cazes Eclipse Minervois provides a complex profile of fruit, spice, and subtle floral notes, while the Château Grand Jean Bordeaux Supérieur—aged in American oak barrels—delivers a classic balance of fruit flavors and soft tannins but with a smooth and modern feel.

Collection includes 3 x 500 mL bottles (2/3 of a standard-size wine bottle) featuring the following wines:
  • 2016 Vignobles Bulliat Gamay: Fresh out of winemaking school in 1978, Noël Bulliat bought 10 acres of vineyards in Beaujolais. The region was known for bland bulk wines, but serious growers like Noël transformed Beaujolais and its reputation. Now he and his son, Loïc, farm and hand-harvest more than 65 acres in Morgon, Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent, three of Beaujolais’ top villages. This wine, which earned 91 points from Wine Enthusiast, comes from the Bulliats’ prized plot of 50-year-old vines.
  • 2016 L'Ostal Cazes Eclipse Minervois: The Cazes family, owner of Bordeaux’s revered Château Lynch-Bages, has crafted France’s top wines for 80 years. In 2002 Jean-Michel Cazes, who ran the business for nearly 40 years, bought a hillside property near La Livinière, a quaint village in southern France. He replanted the vineyards, with no doubt his wines would be standard-bearers—the sort of conviction that earned him lifetime-achievement awards from Wine Spectator and the Institute of Masters of Wine.
  • 2015 Château Grand Jean Bordeaux Superieur: Bordeaux is synonymous with greatness—and rules. They govern everything from which varieties can be planted and where to when grapes can be picked. Bordeaux’s young winemakers, however, are bending those rules to create more complex flavors in the glass. Millennial sisters Sophie and Carole Dulon age some of this wine in—gasp!—American oak barrels, resulting in a bolder-flavored red. It also promises utter excitement if one day the Dulons break Bordeaux’s rules entirely.
