Collection includes 6 x 500 mL bottles (2/3 of a standard-size wine bottle) featuring the following wines:
  • 2016 Sans Liège "The Offering" Red: Sans Liège “The Offering” Red is about as close as a California wine can get to the legendary red wines of France’s Châteauneuf-du-Pape: powerful, primary fruit flavors with interwoven savory and spice notes for complexity and balance. Sniff and taste for the wine’s tannic texture and spice flavors.
  • 2016 Vignobles Bulliat Gamay: Vignobles Bulliat “Cuvée du Colombier” Morgon is a serious, classically styled red, nothing like spritzy, sweet Beaujolais Nouveau. It’s more like a young Burgundy but with a silkier texture and fruity accessibility. This wine, which earned 91 points from Wine Enthusiast, comes from the Bulliats’ prized plot of 50-year-old vines.
  • 2017 Lusu Cellars Carignan: Lusu Cellars Carignan is classic in style, similar to the most restrained, complex and floral examples from France. It’s not like the harsher, more tannic styles you often find in Spain and Australia. These wines are like denim: They go with almost everything, having enough body to stand up to red meat, and since red-berry flavors complement anything cheesy, spicy or both, the wines are ideal with Mexican food.
  • 2015 Château Grand Jean Bordeaux Supérieur: Bordeaux is synonymous with greatness—and rules, governing everything from which varieties can be planted and where to when grapes can be picked. However, Bordeaux’s young winemakers, including millennial sisters Sophie and Carole Dulon, are bending those rules to create more complex flavors in the glass. Château Grand Jean Bordeaux Supérieur Red epitomizes the region’s classic balance of fruit flavors and soft tannins—but with a smoother, more modern feel and spice notes from the wine’s oak aging.
  • 2016 Anthesis Pinot Noir: Anthesis Pinot Noir is a classic Oregon Pinot Noir made of grapes from two of the Willamette Valley’s prized vineyards: Stermer and Briscoe. It strikes a beautiful balance between fruit flavors and earthy complexity, which is why it’s so enjoyable when paired with food.
  • 2016 Airfield Estates Cabernet Sauvignon: Airfield Estates Cabernet Sauvignon is old-school New World, meaning it deftly balances plush, bright fruit flavors with spice and savory notes from aging in oak. The grapes for this wine come from some of Airfield Estates’ prime Washington state vineyards, where the Miller family has been producing wine for nearly 50 years.
