Pumpkins You'll have to forgive Karma for sticking her butt in this one. We've got 7 pumpkin plants growing on this bed. You can see the male flowers shooting up from the base of the vine. The female flowers grow at along the vine on the ends of baby pumpkins. We're going to put some trellising in around the pumpkins so they have somewhere to grow. They've started growing like crazy, and we need to give them a vertical path to grow along or we'll run out of room quick. We're also pretty concerned about Dexter mistaking one of the pumpkins for a ball and ripping up the whole pumpkin patch. He's a bit obsessed with the ball and anything that looks like one...
