Main Pictures What We're Growing Now Harvests

Lettuce Patch This is our lettuce patch. We let a couple of the leafy green, bibb and romaine that we planted in March bolt so that they would continue to attract beneficial insects. We also hope to harvest some of their seeds for a fall planting. In the middle of the lettuce patch we have two kinds of radicchio and chickory coming in. We are getting to the point that we will need to thin them out and we are looking forward to some really great salads with these guys. In the back we have planted some beets, but they haven't started to come in yet. Hopefully we didn't plant them too late in the season. On the right, just out of the picture, is one of our two arugula areas and we will actually be pulling that one out and replanting more arugula along with something else (to be determined).
